The Gran Canal of Venice is the most spectacular “high street” in the world. The sumptuous palaces were constructed over hundreds of years and slowly the Grand Canal became what is today. Take this private tour by motor launch and you can admire the magnificent palaces with the help of your guide recounting the stories and history. The boat will drop you off on the famous Island of Murano, where the glass blowing dates back to the 10th century. Whilst watching one of the glass masters blowing the glass in the furnace, you will be explained the history and the process of the glass making throughout the years.

Price: €400 (from the 5th to the 12th person €10pp), Italian VAT and taxes included.

Duration: 1 hour only boat, 1 hour visit to the glass factory & gallery, but I can customize the duration or combine with another tour.

Meeting point: If your hotel has a water taxi dock, the boat will pick you up directly there.

What’s included: Professional tour guide, luxury water taxi 1 hour, way back to St.Mark from glass factory.

Weather restrictions: The tour takes places rain or shine. Intense fog could compromise the tour.

Dress code: No restrictions, dress comfortably. Sunglasses suggested.
