The Rialto Bridge and St. Mark’s Square are visited by every tourist in Venice, but the floating city is also home to numerous hidden gems. During this tour you will walk through narrow streets, the guide will purposely avoid the crowds to let you discover the real hidden Venice. You will visit the church of San Pantalon, where you will admire the world’s largest oil on canvas, painted over 25 years of work! Then you will admire Palazzo Contarini del Bovolo, a small palazzo known for its stunning external spiral staircase, after this an amazing view from the panoramic terrace of Fontego dei Tedeschi. After this your local tour guide will show you the hospital area and the unique bookshop acqua alta (high tide) with thousands of old and new books housed in an ancient gondola, on bathtubs and wheelbarrows! You will also visit the Rialto Fish Market (Only during mornings from Tuesday to Saturday) and you will cross the grand canal with a gondola, you will be surrounded by locals!

Weather restrictions: The tour takes places rain or shine.

Dress code: Dress comfortably. In order to enter inside churches, shoulders and knees have to be covered. Shorts and skirts are fine, but must be below the knee.

Insurance: All the clients will be covered by insurance (AXA: R.C.T come da L.R. 4/2000 ART.3 COMMA 2).
Notes: The panoramic terrace may be closed due to rain or special events. Rialto fish Market is open every morning from 9.00am to 12.00 , it is closed on Sunday, Monday and National holidays.
